    Who it is for

Sales professionals whose job is winning business — account executives, business development and territory managers, solution consultants, and inside and field sales reps in B2B enterprise, SaaS, professional services, or financial products. You have probably used an AI tool already and seen the potential; what you want is a systematic way to apply AI across the whole sales cycle — prospecting, research, outreach, meeting preparation, proposals, and pipeline — that improves your conversion rate rather than just sending faster spam. No technical background needed.

What you will be able to do

    • Build rich, accurate prospect briefings in a fraction of the time, so you walk into every first meeting better prepared than most sellers are after three calls.

    • Write outreach, follow-ups, and proposals that sound like you using the PRISM prompting structure, instead of the generic templated copy buyers now ignore.

    • Prepare for every buyer conversation with tailored discovery questions and objection responses matched to the prospect and the deal stage.

    • Produce executive-ready proposals faster and with more specificity, then verify them with the TRUST framework before they reach a buyer.

    • Manage your pipeline with AI-assisted intelligence that surfaces deal risk before it becomes a forecast miss.

    • Apply a consistent data discipline and AI Safety Checklist that protects customer trust and keeps your AI practice credible.

    The curriculum

Module by module, in the order they are assigned.

    AI Foundations for Sales

These foundations calibrate AI for sales work: where it already appears, where it creates value, and where buyer-facing risk remains yours. By the end, you can map tasks with the AI Opportunity Matrix, use the Augmentation Ladder, and choose first AI handoffs deliberately.

    Prompting AI for Sales

Prompting AI for sales turns vague requests into specific instructions, then checks output before it affects a buyer, manager, or deal decision. You build PRISM prompts, inject account context, iterate as a thought partner, and use TRUST to decide what is ready to use.

    AI for Prospecting and Research

This module applies PRISM and TRUST to sales research, where AI can turn scattered public information into structured prospect intelligence without replacing seller judgement. By the end, you can build verified briefings, qualify accounts for fit, timing, and risk, and prevent the outdated fact, fabricated quote, and inferred fact.

    AI for Discovery Conversations

Discovery conversations depend on preparation before the call, presence during it, and fast follow-through after it, because sellers win trust through relevance and momentum. You use PRISM, TRUST, and the AI Capability Spectrum to brief meetings, protect the live conversation, and turn rough notes into usable outputs.

    AI for Proposals and Pipeline

This stage turns discovery into buyer-specific proposals and honest pipeline management, where sales professionals need speed without losing commercial judgement. You learn to draft problem-built executive summaries, build ROI from the buyer’s numbers, protect sensitive deal data, review pipeline risk, and own the committed forecast.

Selling Safely and Your 30-Day AI Plan

AI can support the full sales cycle only when data discipline, buyer trust and habit formation stay intact. You leave able to run safety checks, protect credibility, classify sensitive inputs and build a 30-day plan with triggers that make responsible AI use stick.

    Assessment and certificate

The course closes with a timed final exam with a pass mark and a limited number of attempts. A pass issues a PDF certificate with its own serial, in the name of the Straits Institute for Applied AI. Cohort progress, at-risk learners and a CSV export are in the admin console throughout.

    About this course

Do I need a technical or AI background to take this course?

No. The course is built for sales professionals who carry a number and win deals in human conversations. You do not need any technical background, and you will not need one — every lesson moves from watching to trying to practising on a real task from your own week.

    Will AI replace salespeople?

No. The throughline of the course is that the sellers who win with AI use it to show up better in front of buyers, not to automate the most of their job away. The parts that win deals — reading the room, building trust, understanding the real problem — stay with you; AI prepares you to do them well.

How long is the course and how is it structured?

Six modules of about 60 minutes each (roughly six hours total). The modules run across the sales cycle: AI foundations for sales, prompting, prospecting and research, discovery conversations, proposals and pipeline, and safety plus a 30-day starter plan.

    What frameworks will I learn?

PRISM for writing prompts that get usable output, TRUST for checking AI output before it reaches a buyer, the AI Opportunity Matrix and Augmentation Ladder for deciding where AI fits in your work, and an AI Safety Checklist for handling customer and deal data responsibly.

Is it safe to use AI with customer and deal data?

The course teaches a data discipline and an AI Safety Checklist so you protect customer trust, handle sensitive deal information appropriately, and never let an unverified AI output stand on its own in front of a buyer.

Which sales roles is this course for?

Account executives, business development and territory managers, solution consultants, and inside and field sales representatives across B2B enterprise, SaaS, professional services, financial products, and similar sectors where your role is finding prospects, understanding their needs, and converting opportunities into revenue.
