What you will be able to do

    • Design a sustainable AI-assisted content system built on content pillars, batch production, and platform-specific repurposing workflows — so you produce a steady stream of on-brand content instead of the daily reactive grind.

    • Write prompts with the PRISM framework and a brand voice brief that generate genuinely on-brand content for LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, X/Twitter, and YouTube Shorts — not generic, detectable AI output.

    • Apply the CARE Community Management Protocol (Classify, Assist, Review, Escalate) to triage community interactions at scale without losing the human warmth that keeps an audience loyal.

    • Use AI-assisted social listening and trend intelligence systematically to convert brand mentions, sentiment, and cultural moments into strategic decisions — surfacing intelligence, not just monitoring data.

    • Produce analytics narratives that connect social media performance to business outcomes, so you can prove social's value in the language stakeholders actually care about rather than vanity metrics.

    • Use AI safely on social media — protecting brand voice, customer data, intellectual property, and community trust — by applying the Marketing AI Safety Protocol and taking a defensible position on AI transparency.

    • Leave with a personalised 30-day AI adoption plan and your first three quick-win tasks, tailored to your specific role, platform mix, and highest-priority gaps.

    The curriculum

Module by module, in the order they are assigned.

Where AI Fits in Social Media Work

Social media work runs as a repeating cycle, and AI matters because it can support more than caption drafting. You map tasks to Automate, Augment, Protect, and Explore, then choose a practical first handoff grounded in your own workload.

What AI Can Do and How to Prompt It

AI capability becomes useful when it is mapped to the real social media cycle, not treated as a generic writing shortcut. You learn to sort tasks by readiness, prompt with PRISM and a brand voice brief, and protect every AI-assisted post with TRUST.

Building a Content System Across Platforms

Building a cross-platform content system matters when social work is scattered across daily requests, AI drafts, and platform demands. By the end, you can turn pillars into calendars, batches, repurposed assets, native briefs, and human-approved posts.

Managing Community and Social Listening at Scale

Community management and social listening become high-stakes when comments, DMs, mentions, and trends move faster than manual judgment. By the end, you can run CARE on the queue, escalate safely, and turn listening outputs into recommendations your team can act on.

Proving Value and Using AI Safely

This module connects social reporting to business outcomes and shows why safe AI use protects the trust social depends on. By the end, you can turn platform data into outcome-linked recommendations, run the Marketing AI Safety Protocol, and take a defensible disclosure position.

    Your 30-Day AI Starter Plan

This final planning sequence turns AI-assisted social media workflows into a realistic 30-day adoption rhythm for the learner’s role, platforms, and pressure points. By the end, the learner can choose quick wins, set observable benchmarks, and decide which practices become permanent.

    Assessment and certificate

The course closes with a timed final exam with a pass mark and a limited number of attempts. A pass issues a PDF certificate with its own serial, in the name of the Straits Institute for Applied AI. Cohort progress, at-risk learners and a CSV export are in the admin console throughout.

    About this course

Do I need a technical background or coding experience to take this course?

No. No technical background is assumed. What you need is an understanding of your brand, your audience, and your social strategy — the professional expertise that makes AI assistance genuinely useful rather than generically adequate.

Won't using AI make my content sound generic and get spotted by my audience?

Solving exactly this is the point of the course. You learn to brief AI with a brand voice brief and to evaluate every draft with the TRUST framework so the output sounds like your brand, not a generic social voice. AI gives you a first draft; you remain the quality and authenticity layer — producing a sustainable amount of genuinely good content, not an unsustainable amount of mediocre content.

Can AI actually manage my community, or will it damage the relationships I've built?

AI assists community management; it does not replace it. The CARE Community Management Protocol — Classify, Assist, Review, Escalate — helps you triage interactions at scale and decide where an AI-drafted response is appropriate and where full human authorship is required, so you keep the human warmth that makes followers stay.

Do I need to read AI+ Everyone (T1-01) or another AI+ book first?

It's helpful but not required. AI+ Everyone introduces PRISM, TRUST, and the AI Safety Checklist, and this course applies them to social media. The CARE Community Management Protocol, which is central to this book, is taught here in full — you do not need to have encountered it elsewhere.

Is my customer data and brand information safe when I use AI tools?

A full module is devoted to using AI safely on social media. You apply the Marketing AI Safety Protocol to real scenarios — customer data in social ad targeting, brand voice in AI-generated content, intellectual property in AI-generated visuals, and competitive exposure through social strategy documents — and take a principled, defensible position on what to disclose, when, and how.

I'm a team of one across several platforms — will this realistically fit my workload?

Yes. It is designed for solo managers, agency multi-account leads, and community-led organisations alike. You build a content batch system that replaces daily reactive production with monthly planning and weekly batch sessions, and you finish with a personalised 30-day plan tailored to your role and platform mix.

Put this in front of a team.

Course libraries are assigned per user, team or department, and the reporting comes back to whoever has to answer for the programme. Tell us who needs it and we will show you the console.
